A Wellington man is charged with the pre-meditated murder of his neighbors in the Black Diamond neighborhood.
According to the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office, it was a dispute over the location of a basketball hoop and their property line that led 63-year old Norman Scott to shoot and kill a husband and wife who lived next door to him.
The suspect claims Taylor and Tara Jones attacked him first on Saturday, but surveillance video does not show that.
Scott was booked in the county jail on Sunday morning and has been denied bond.
