Since 2005, Clear Channel Sarasota has provided the non-profit organizations/groups a Community Calendar Program for all PSA’s. In 2008 we developed a NEW PROGRAM to make a stronger connection with the community called “Your Personal PSA”.
This On-Air/On-Line feature is now an invaluable resource for your non-profit organization/group which you can rely on to get the support of the community.
The program,
“Your Personal PSA”, will give your non-profit organization/group a more active role with the community. We will invite you or a representative of your organization into our production studios. You will have the opportunity to voice your PSA that you would like the community to attend, recognize and support.
This will apply to all PSA’s that have been approved only.
Nikki Harris, the Public Information Director and Eddie Rupp, the Operations Manager, will make a decision
every Wednesday at noon on all PSA’s that have been submitted by that deadline. ***THERE IS NO GUARANTEE THAT ANY PSA WILL GO ON “YOUR PERSONAL PSA” (ON THE AIR) or ONTO THE COMMUNITY CALENDAR WEBSITE!
All decisions are based on the following:
- Relevance of the local community
- If 100% of proceeds are going to a non-profit organization/group
- The following has been provided:
WHO, WHAT, WHEN, WHERE, WHO IS BENEFITTING, NAME OF NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION / GROUP, CONTACT NAME, PHONE NUMBER AND AN EMAIL ADDRESS?

"Your Personal PSA" - if approved:
If your PSA is approved, you will be contacted, invited and schedule an appointment to come into our studios to voice your PSA announcement. Your PSA will be placed on the air with a start and end date, only upon availability on all five stations, Monday-Sunday, 6am-12midnight with an allotted amount of :15-:19 seconds worth of information. Your PSA will also be placed onto our Community Calendar website.
Community Calendar - on all websites only: If your PSA is not approved for "Your Personal PSA" on-air program, we may place it on our Community Calendar which goes onto all five of our stations websites. You can also find out about other events/fund raisers/campaigns for all other organizations/groups.
